Lampung,- (BN.Net) The University of Bandar Lampung (UBL) held an Open Senate Meeting at the University of Bandar Lampung for Judiciary and Graduation activities for the Even Period of the 2022/2023 Academic Year at the UBL Mahligai Agung Convention Hall, Wednesday (24/5/23).
Also present were the Heads of Higher Education Service Institutions (LLDikti) Region II Prof. Dr. Iskhaq Iskandar M.Sc accompanied by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Lampung Administration Foundation (YAL) Dra, Hj. Sri Hayati Barusman along with other board members and Chairperson of the UBL Family Association (IKB) Desi Falena Yusuf Barusman SE This period UBL graduated 1,040 graduates with details of 641 undergraduate programs and 399 for postgraduate programs.
Head of LLDikti Institute Region II Prof. Dr. Iskhaq Iskandar M.Sc conveyed his congratulations and messages to the graduates. “Congratulations to the parents, spouses of all of you who have supported you from the start when you entered UBL, and today their dreams have come true with the inauguration of all of you as bachelors and masters. You have the right to wear the oversized clothes you are wearing today and pin the title behind your name, but I order you to stay humble wherever you are,” Iskhaq said.
Prof Iskhaq also expressed his appreciation to the entire UBL academic community for their achievements so far. “I once again appreciate UBL’s achievements which have continuously been the best university in LLDikti Region II for 4 consecutive years. We will push UBL as the first university to achieve SUPERIOR accreditation, especially in Region II. There are 181 private tertiary institutions in LLDikti Region II covering Bengkulu, Lampung, South Sumatra and Bangka Belitung, and of the 181 PTS, UBL is in first place which we will encourage as the first PTS to achieve Excellent Accreditation,” concluded Iskhaq.
On this occasion, Prof. Iskhaq also gave awards to the best graduates at the Undergraduate (S1) and Undergraduate (S2) levels, accompanied by the UBL Chancellor, Prof. Dr. M. Yusuf S. Barusman, MBA and Chairman of the Lampung Administration Foundation (YAL) as the legal entity managing UBL Ir. Ratna Hapsari, MM, MH. (Rilis UBL)
